Sexuality is confusing when it’s so taboo but it needs to be talked about more. To be honest, some days I feel more feminine, some days I feel more masculine, and most days I feel a mix of both.
Coming out as bisexual has really allowed me to be comfortable with myself & embrace whatever I feel no matter what anyone else thinks. I didn’t come out for attention, I didn’t come out to gain the approval of others. No, I came out so I could be me.
While it may make some people uncomfortable that I am not a hyper masculine male, it shouldn’t matter. Being heterosexual, bisexual, lesbian, gay, pansexual, asexual, or whatever side of the spectrum you’re on does NOT mean you have to abide by any social norms. Instead, being open should empower you to feel like you can be whoever the f*ck you want to be without feeling ashamed or judged.
At the end of the day, we’re all human and we all have differences that make us unique. We all deserve to be ourselves and love who we are, inside and out. Even if you can’t relate to this post about sexuality, relate over the fact that you should NEVER be ashamed or apologetic for being YOU. We’re all amazing in our own ways. Being more open about anything allows for other people to see that too 😌
