Gluten Free Cinnamon Raisin Apple Butter Sandwich

It's been a while since I created a gluten-free recipe. I mean, over 1 year? C'mon Taylor, where have you been? Well, college and being a young guy in his 20's has really gotten the best of me. With that being said, I suppose a quick recipe like this is really fitting for a college student like me.

I'll be honest, this is a sponsored post. I'll be honest again; I'm REALLY proud to have a post sponsored by Canyon Bakehouse in the first place! Their breads truly were my favorite when I first discovered them at 14 years old after my Celiac diagnosis.

Back then, these breads weren't so easy to find. Lucky for you, they're all over the U.S. now! Alright, I'll stop talking and just share the recipe with you now. It is Celiac Disease Awareness Month so you deserve a delicious breakfast sandwich like this.

Gluten Free Toasted Cinnamon Raisin Apple Butter Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of Canyon Bakehouse Cinnamon Raisin Bread

  • Natural apple butter (link)

  • Maple almond butter

  • Candied pecans

  • Apple slices

  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Directions:

  1. Lightly toast your 2 pieces of bread.

  2. Spread the apple butter on one piece of bread and the almond butter on the other piece of bread.

  3. Place your candies pecans on one piece of bread and place your sliced apples on the other piece of bread.

  4. Combine the 2 pieces pieces together to make a sandwich and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Enjoy!

I promise you'll LOVE this recipe once you try it! It'll make you feel like you're eating gluten again! Have a great Celiac Disease Awareness Month!
