Why I Took a Break From Social Media

I haven’t missed posting on social media.

I haven’t missed trying to grow my Instagram page instead of trying to grow my relationships in real life. That’s why I took a break.

I lost what made posting on social media, fun, and to be honest, the only thing that kept me going was you guys. You are why I strive to be as honest on here as I can be. You are why I will always talk about what is real despite what everyone else posts. With all that being said…after a 3 month break, I’m back to posting again…but with a few changes.

I’m only going to talk about things that I KNOW will make a difference. You won’t see me share a single thing I don’t feel incredibly passionate about and that’s that.

I’m going to be sharing less about gluten-free (because it’s so routine for me) and more about invisible illnesses, mental health, trauma, body empowerment, self-care, and what it means to grow up in this difficult and confusing world we live in. This is where I know I can make a difference. This is how I know I can help people feel happy and healthy.

I can’t promise that I won’t take a break from social media again. I’m all about having balance in life and I never want social media to feel like it’s taking up too much of my life to begin with.

When it comes to discussing the most difficult topics, I’m your guy. I appreciate your support more than you know and I’m very excited to be sharing again. ❤️⠀
