It's Normal to Show Exhaustion on Your Face

This is a picture of myself that I don’t like. This is also a picture I would normally never post. Why? Because I look exhausted. Why? Because nobody shares pictures of them looking exhausted either. 🤷‍♂️

While this is not a picture showing that I have fat rolls, cellulite, etc. (Which I have all of those btw), this is a picture showing that I clearly get exhausted too.

I usually have bags under my eyes, I often look tired, I don’t always smile, but this is normal, and more importantly, this is ok. “You look tired!” (God I hate that comment) But hey, guess what? LIFE is tiring and life is exhausting!

Believe me, I’m still working on being less insecure when I see my own exhausted face. But it’s important to know that while many people focus on trying to normalize all bodies, we need to normalize that everyone gets tired and nobody has to hide it 100% of the time too. 🙌🏼

When you look in the mirror and see your exhausted face some days, just remember that you work hard to get through life it’s ok if your face shows that! After all, working out is exhausting, college is exhausting, kids are exhausting, life is exhausting, but that doesn’t always mean the cause of exhaustion is always a bad thing. 😌

You are doing amazing and you deserve the self-love and self-appreciation that we all deserve. Keep living life and never be ashamed of the face that you have to show for it. ❤️
